Browning, the Foster Knives 1911 Folder is the perfect compliment to America's favorite sidearm and a superb knife in its own right. The Patented Lake-Walker safety lock prevents accidental disengagement of the liner. Once the knife is open, simply push the safety button forward. This positions a locking plate into the recess where the liner spring rests when the knife is closed. This physically prevents the liner from unlocking the blade. The knurled thumb disk on top of the blade allows for instant opening in an emergency or for convenience. This one-hand opening knife has a pocket clip for maximum versatility. The handle is made from machined aluminum which is much stronger than t-6061. The handles are hard-coat anodized a matte black.
